The Blow
Jon Bragger
They Blow!
"Their style is one that is had to define but with if you can get to grips of the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs mixed with some tragic 80’s pop band with a 00’s spin on it and a huge fusion of pop then you’ll get the grip of it."
All is in the name with this band; and they literally blow. Their style is one that is had to define but with if you can get to grips of the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs mixed with some tragic 80’s pop band with a 00’s spin on it and a huge fusion of pop then you’ll get the grip of it.The blend of the generic characteristics and lack of real contemporary flair disengages the audience, leaving them wondering why on earth is this music penetrating their ears. Unfortunately some clever kids must think it's good to be out there in the big wide world for us all to hear. The only positive feedback this album deserves is that is peculiar in a funny, quirky type of style. But there is still no click with the ideology of the music they produce and the mainstream audience out there.
If a salesman could run you through the idea and thought process behind the music, that would be great. To hear someone who cares to tell us why this album has been released then it might help the audience tune into The Blow's purpose.

k, im sorry to be the one to have to break it to yah, but The Blow are FREAKING AMAZING! nearly everyone i know loves them for being so diverse from what is considered the 'norm'. Maybe change in the music industry is needed, in my opinion it is.., and out of all artists capable of making this difficult transition, The Blow by all means 'blows' away the competition.
