Nominated at the UK Festival Awards for Best Medium Sized Festival and in its fifth year in 2008, Get Loaded in the Park has gained popularity as a mainstream-tinged indie-dance fest. The bank holiday weekend event is one half of the Metro Weekender (coupled with the dance all-dayer South West Four) and will see Clapham Common transformed into a festival-goer's paradise.

Three stages will play host to some notably radio-friendly names, including Supergrass, Kate Nash, The Gossip, Reverend & The Makers and The Maccabees. For those who fancy something a little less predictable though, there is the likes of Iggy & The Stooges, Soulwax and The Presets.

The line-up is supplemented by some top quality DJs - take your pick from Mylo, DJ Yoda, the Plump DJs or Krafty Kuts to name a few. If you don't fancy the tent and wellies approach to festivals, Get Loaded could be the summer event for you.
